In honor of the feast day of universally beloved St. Francis of Assisi, we invite you to bring your pets to the Shrine of Holy Wisdom to be blessed. This lovely tradition of honoring the sacredness of all animal life arose from the great love and admiration that St. Francis displayed to all God’s creatures. We request that all four legged creatures be on a leash. Each animal will be prayed for and receive a blessing with holy water and a relic of St. Francis. A love offering is suggested for the maintenance of the Shrine.
