Join us for the celebration of The Liturgy of Our Lady honoring Mother Mary’s glorious assumption to heavenly bliss also known in the gnostic tradition as the Exaltation of Holy Wisdom or Hagia Sophia. Everyone will also have the opportunity after the Divine Liturgy to receive the blessing of the protective veil of the Holy Mother and a blessing with a holy relic of Mother Mary’s veil which to this day is preserved in the cathedral of Chartres, France. The great feast of the Assumption of Mary (August 15) reveals in more esoteric terms the exaltation of the feminine principle of Holy Wisdom enthroned on high. At this evening liturgy seminarians Gwendolyn Johnson & Sharie Adren will be elevated to the order of subdeacon. The public is invited to attend.
